Catherine Opie

The Guggenheim currently has Catherine Opie's encyclopedic exhibition catalog up. The show features Opie's work since 1988. I have an original Opie piece. One of the Manhattan beach surfers series. Even though I haven't made it to the Gugg yet, I anticipate going to catch this before it's over. I suggest you do the same.

Just bought this today. It's well worth it. I have to admit that I never like Plastic Man or his new moniker, Plastician, but his recent Rinse FM podcasts and now this have turned me onto his music. Buy the album here!
