Too Dangerous for Freedom
Varg Vikernes, of Burzum, was recently denied parole for the second time, as Norwegian newspaper VG Nett stated. He has served two-thirds of his 21 year sentence, which is not enough, as the Norwegian Ministry of Justice has stated that Vikernes was, “too dangerous for freedom” and “too dangerous to be released into the community”...
Classic! Whatever, Filosofem is a great album...

Classic indeed. I got a free copy of Peter Beste's new book last time I was in NY.
I find it really interesting to see the dichotomy between US Metal and Norwegian Metal. US metal tends to be all show and no action. I mean Slayer's band members actually attend Church regularly. Whereas Norwegians BURN THEM DOWN.
Still, I feel like Varg needs to chill out for a bit. He has 2 kids and is a grown man. Plus Burzum hasn't released anything good since Filosofem. It's not like Gaahl and Gorgoroth either, who's crimes and criminal history stems from self-defense.
I did not realize he was essentially a nazi... weak sauce.
