The Officer's name is Salvatore Rivieri, he's suspended with pay. I don't understand how this man was awarded a paid vacation for assaulting a minor. That's not really the way things work at my job. Clearly I chose the wrong career.

I've actually ridden that spot with my track bike. It's pretty fun. I think it's also safe to say that nearly everyone has had interactions with cops like that.
I remember being thrown against lockers in middle school by a deputy for bringing my skateboard into the building.
That was back when skateboarding was considered "evil" by a lot of adults...
This would seem to be unbelievable! At least he stated his name clearly so that boy's parents can file the appropriate charges. Not to mention demanding that he be transferred to the night shift of the landfill security detail.
