You are one or the other. If you're gettin' bent about taxes being used to help the lower class, you are not a Christian and are not living your life in the manner dictated to you by the Bible.

What ever happened to "the better good?"

And, by the way, you're not a "small business" if you're making a quarter-mil in profits. If you're making twelve times the poverty line, you can contribute to those who need help.

A sign of a good economy is a large middle-class. Many an economist would suggest that by "redistributing wealth" you'll create a larger middle-class which will in turn be able to afford whatever service your not-small business might be providing. With a larger costumer base, you'll be seeing increased business come through your doors and that will undoubtedly increase your profits.Prollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17361235576008388483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26323809.post-5826614450255113612008-10-20T13:33:00.000-04:002008-10-20T13:33:00.000-04:00I completely agree. Its sad to think about how many Christians don't take what Jesus said seriously, and are acting EXACTLY like the people that executed him.

Christians for McCain? He tripled the national debt, and the upper classes hung onto the money that was supposed to "trickle down".

How is this country so blind to the past? Reagan's policies were some of the worst, and yet he is still heralded as one the of the greatest presidents this country has seen. IMHO, his administration began the mess we are in today.Beefy McManstickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14875342342709054407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26323809.post-1490405746086679012008-10-17T12:02:00.000-04:002008-10-17T12:02:00.000-04:00i returned from afghanistan a month ago. i was dep...i returned from afghanistan a month ago. i was deployed there with the air force reserves. in the time i was there, a lot of americans died in service. rocket attacks were frequent on my base and while i was never in any direct danger, there were a lot of close calls. a lot of people weren't so lucky...

and for what, to protect the people in that ohio video? it makes me sick to think of the great measures we're taking to "protect" this country when half of them STILL think obamas a muslim.

what the serious fuck. its really hard for me to understand why half of america thinks a mccain/palin office would be a good thing. i feel like my time spent overseas was wasted, america isn't any smarter or safer and we're dangerously close to another four years of bush policies.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02432668067162443659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26323809.post-23565549062674457502008-10-17T10:37:00.000-04:002008-10-17T10:37:00.000-04:00I completely agree.I love how Letterman sonned McC...I completely agree.

I love how Letterman sonned McCain. What's the Matter with Kansas underscores the point but consider the actual situation of Joe the Plumber; he doesn't have the scratch to purchase the business in the first place, second, if he does pull it off he will be getting a fantastic raise and will still end up with more income than he has now even if he ends up paying a higher percentage tax.

If I could get my income up over $250K I would be delighted to pay a little more tax since I would have it to give. As long as we focus only on what's good for 'me' our society deteriorates and the 'us' loses. Oh, while only one of us is me, we are all part of us so we all lose.WheelDancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15219805760534549996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26323809.post-43613857452306949012008-10-17T10:22:00.000-04:002008-10-17T10:22:00.000-04:00It's sad that because of Bush's economics anyone t...It's sad that because of Bush's economics anyone that proposes a reform would be thought of as "Radical"... Remember Clinton? People said the same thing about Clinton and small business. We ended up pretty well after his presidency.

McCain is Bush in sheep's clothing. I think everyone forgets Obama is trying to instill some very dangerous things on our economy. From a small business owner's standpoint, it's scary to think he's raising taxes for the people most effected by this economic downturn (small business owners). That'll proliferate into cutting jobs, investing less in development/machinery/ future hiring/services, all of which are taxable items. There's a reason why when Reagan lowered the s-class business tax in the 80's suddenly revenues went up.

Either way, you don't have to be an idiot to vote for McCain. You just have to have a dynamic view of our economy. Spouting off "hope" and "change" rhetoric certainly won't fix it. But it does make me feel all mushy inside...ASME - UWMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05709769908182880893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26323809.post-75843881602363071512008-10-17T02:17:00.000-04:002008-10-17T02:17:00.000-04:00It's scary how cultish christianity can get in the...It's scary how cultish christianity can get in the rural areas of america.
I'm christian but can't get over how seriously fucked some others that would call themselves the same... really not the same.
This election is really getting to me a lot more than I care for it to.TaylorSizemorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18275500207368964016noreply@blogger.com
